The Nature Conservancy
Sage Steppe Conservation Coordinator
My California upbringing and Latina heritage instilled in me a lifelong interest in conservation within my own communities and beyond. I graduated in May 2023 from Yale University with a B.S. degree in Environmental Studies concentrating in Conservation & Biodiversity. I completed my senior thesis with the Yale School of the Environment investigating the impacts of land management on soil carbon and nitrogen pools in the sagebrush steppe of southern Colorado. I joined The Nature Conservancy in the fall of 2023 as the Sage Steppe Conservation Coordinator to continue to work towards preserving rangelands in the American West.
