Hi community! I'm an interdisciplinary biodiversity scientist with interests in Earth System Science, vertebrate paleobiology, tropical ecology, and geology. In 2022, I graduated from UC Berkeley with a double major in Molecular Environmental Biology and Ecosystem Management & Forestry, as well as a minor certificate in Geospatial Information Science & Technology. Since 2024, I have started a PhD in Geobiology at Caltech in Pasadena, CA.
I am a first-gen Mexican-American raised in a Southern Californian community of Latin American immigrants, my family is binational and my favorite places in Mexico are Jalisco, CDMX, and Oaxaca. In my free time I like to play video games on my Nintendo Switch, read natural history books, rock climb, listen to music, karaoke, camping, hiking, and photography.
