Having been born and raised on the island of Maui, Hawaiʻi and being exposed to the beauty and uniqueness of the island's landscape and its importance in sustaining the livelihoods of the community, I was inspired to learn about the environment and how we interact with it. My current aspirations are to get my undergraduate degree in environmental science and, eventually, go to law school to practice environmental law.
