I'm a field biologist for an environmental consulting firm, and I monitor bird and bat mortality at a wind farm. I've worked as an intern with USGS piping plover conservation, AZGFD Mexican wolf management, and USDA bee research. I graduated with a B.S. in Wildlife Conservation from the University of Arizona and plan to attend grad school in the near future. My professional interests center on wildlife conservation, especially with bats and other small mammals. I am a strong supporter of science communication through art. Additionally, I am the Vice President for an educational consulting organization named S.H.A.P.E. SHIFTERS which emphasizes the relationship between the Sciences, Humanities, Arts, Philosophy, and Education (SHAPE).
