Roxana Ayala is a first generation Latina, born and raised within the ancestral lands of the Tongva peoples (Los Angeles, CA). She holds a bachelors of arts in environmental science and urban studies from the University of California, Irvine.
She currently is a Roger Arliner Young (RAY) Energy Efficiency Diversity fellow at the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE). She supports the local policy program with research and technical assistance related to city-led clean energy policy. She contributes significantly to work on local workforce development and equity-driven energy efficiency.
