Hello! My name is Marcy, and I recently moved from the desert to the East Coast to further myself in my career as an educator. I love to introduce or reacquaint people with their public lands while sharing information about their historical, cultural, aesthetic, and biological/natural significance. To me, it is incredibly important that all people feel welcome and safe in parks and open spaces, and that they are empowered to be stewards of the land and are invested in their future. I strive to raise up narratives that have been historically ignored or absent, and I am passionate about trip planning, developing inclusive programming, and creating games and activities for everyone to enjoy. I currently work in grants administration for Harvard University and I attend online classes for my Master's degree in Outdoor Education Leadership from Prescott College.
