I am currently pursuing a PhD in Forestry with an interdisciplinary focus on Environmental Science at Michigan State University. I received my BA in Earth Sciences from UCLA where I developed interests in climate change and water resource management. My current research focuses on how different types of vegetation respond to climate variability and its implication on regional water budget. My long-term career goal is to work as a scientist at a municipal government agency and support next-generation climate change resilient city planning and construction.
