Last fall, we shared an update with you on our decision-making process around discontinuing DDCSP at Northern Arizona University. In the spirit of transparency and in providing you all periodic updates on DDCSP and DDCF, we wanted to share with you another shift in one of the programs.

Our dear friend Lacey Lumpkin passed away earlier this year after a courageous battle with cancer. The grief has been heavy and difficult to process and it’s still hard to imagine a future without Lacey. She was a radiant member of the DDCSP UW family; she had an iconic sense of style, the best humor, and an incredible smile.

I am recruiting for a graduate student (PhD/Masters) in ocean and coastal governance at the University of Southern Mississippi's Gulf Coast Research Lab beginning in the Fall of 2020. The student will be fully funded as a Research Assistant (4 years for PhD, 2 years for Masters).
