Thank you to everyone who organized and hosted this Q+A session about Grizzly Corps just for DDCSPers last week! The priority application deadline is this month! And the regular application deadline is May 15th.

We’re starting off our 2021 POLLEN season with a little bit of futurism…Afrofuturism that is. Black History Month, Black Future Month, Black Panther the movie, Black Panthers the people, Octavia Butler, and N.K. Jemisin all have us thinking about alternate endings.

You are invited to apply to present at the 2021 New Horizons in Conservation Conference. The conference will take place virtually from Sunday, April 18 through Tuesday, April 20, 2020. Applications to present will be evaluated on a rolling basis, so apply as soon as possible, but the deadline is February 18.

Last year DDCSP hosted a Craft Night with Keren Alfred (UW '15, ALC 3 ). Keren did an amazing job of leading us through a bead making workshop, and we chatted about our creative practices during COVID isolation. If you’d like to do the project yourself, the steps are all below for you to make your own beautiful paper beads.
